Oh well I've never been to Kansas But it must be swell Just miles of corn As far as I can tell I've got to get away From this place I call home Or I'll die a young man And alone I'll pack my bags as soon as I can I can't miss the train Or the marshmallow man Well I'll see the sun In a thousand different ways And I'll live my life Every day I'll end up in a fish town The fish people nice and tall Try to fit in And impress them all Gills galore Me they will adore Til I've reached an epic end And a bore My Heart will sing "Forevermore The days of being afraid Are no more Fly to the moon You jumping tiger play this tune And the cosmos will Come through Fly to the moon And I promise to be true For a friend in me you will find" I'll listen to my footsteps And find a better clock Go to parties or Hang with all my socks Well I'll need a friend but A friend I will not find For the only one like me Is my mind I'll search far and wide For the perfect kind of drink One that leaves behind The foul and the stink Well I'll find the place They charge thirty for a taste But they won't look you Straight in the face I'll dance with the Devil All through the night And lose my keys So I'll ask him for a ride Well all Gods men, to the castle we defend For my soul is at risk Of a win My Soul will shine Just like a star And he will say to me "I know it's hard Be true to you And you'll love that attitude For your love will become true Just sing this tune When you're feeling sad and blue To find clarity of mind" I'll lose my way But I will not lose my mind Pick up all my pieces Or at least begin to try Well I tried real hard To be a man I know I'm not Though the man that I am Is all I got And as I sit On this windowsill Seeing the things that can Or the things that will If I go I will Surely fly But if I miss a beat I will surely die Oh I just need more time I just need more time I just need more time And as I fell Down from the sky I thought to myself Oh what a ride My Mind said "Who Is more worthier than you To be a man just like you You know it's true So fly with me to the moon Where your heart and soul can unwind Fly to the moon you jumping tiger play this tune For a friend in me you will find"

I See You 02:16
I miss you When I feel of all the longing in my heart Though you’re in my thoughts So you won’t go that far But every time I say goodbye I feel of this pain So that is why I’ll look for you And why I’ll shout your name I see you In the rivers, in the valleys of this land The clouds upon the mountains And the passing country band The trees I see their dancing To a tune that I don’t know, But where they do their dancing Is the place that I must go. I see you In the raining, in the misty morning fog The stillness of the forest At the breaking of the dawn The birds I hear them chirping ‘Bout the changes in the leaves But now I cannot trust them For their spirits are too free Oh, I don’t know But I will not back down; I’ll search through every desert And I’ll look in every town Your spirit is around me, I can feel your beating heart Oh I see you in everything And that makes it all hard I see you In the rising, in the setting of the Sun When children are a-laughing And when people fall in love I see you in the silence Yeah, it’s not that hard to do: Cause in the silence I hear love And in love, I see you Oh, I don’t know But I will not back down I’ve been to too many places And I can’t stop now The love we have is timeless It is older than this world For I did not exist until The day I saw you girl No, I did not exist until The day I saw you girl No, I did not exist until The day I saw you girl

I bet you didn’t know That in Texas it does snow Once or twice storms bring Snow and ice That’ll make any desert cold I bet you didn’t know That the darkest night do show The cosmic past of starry Dust and ash That forged the world in gold I don’t know much, but some things I’ll share Just a traveler traveling on with a mind that’s bruised and bare I don’t know when or if I’ll ever quit this road I do know I was born to haul this load I bet you didn’t know That I’ve done this all alone Every June, I go up To the moon Just to get the hell out of home I bet you didn’t know All the souls you’ve caused to grow People here and almost Everywhere Even those that chose to roam I don’t know much, but some things I’ll share Just a traveler traveling on with a mind that’s bruised and bare I don’t know when or if I’ll ever quit this road I do know I was born to haul this load I don’t know much, but some things I’ll share Just a traveler traveling on with a mind that’s bruised and bare I don’t know when or if I’ll ever quit this road I do know I was born to haul this load Yes, I do know I was born to haul this load

One, two, three, four Well the thing about women Is there ain’t no point in living If you don’t got one by your side If I know one thing How to make a girl sing All ya gotta do is cry Not too much you don’t want to be a baby And not too little you don’t want to seem crazy Just find that middle Pick up your fiddle Join in my tune You can call her broad or bimbo But those are rude nasty words That’s why I’m gonna sit right here and Call my women birds Be stable, little risky With the right amount of frisky Be a gentleman overall Pay for meals Feel the feels And when you kiss don’t drop the ball Now don’t expect a kind, concentrated, nice attitude To get her into bed, don’t be so crude When she wants it that way That’s what she’ll say But she can always change to no Be direct, not a boss Women’s rights, not a loss Feminism's my middle name So you should listen to me Took GS 2-0-3 That’s gender studies there ain’t no shame Cause women want a softy but they also need a hero So be Kermit the frog and Robert De Niro Listen deeply But don’t come off as creepy Once you lose a bird she don’t come back You can call her broad or bimbo But those are rude nasty words That’s why I’m gonna sit right here and Call my women birds Make it fifty-fifty Sentimental and gifty But don’t put too much faith in things This world's temporary Can be weird and hairy But real love beats all the flings Now don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of having fun But after a while it’s sure gets overdone Just settle down And turn that frown And sign your soul on the dotted line In all truth and honesty I don’t no ornithology I haven’t even been with three Everything I know Comes from movies and shows So you can blame it on society Women are just people, there’s no need to generalize We all got arms, a couple ears, and two eyes Bold or meek We’re all unique But Imma still call my women birds You can call her broad or bimbo But those are rude nasty words That’s why I’m gonna sit right here and Call my women birds You can call her broad or bimbo But those are rude nasty words That’s why I’m gonna sit right here and Call my women birds I'm gonna call my women birds I'm gonna call my women birds

Upright Man 03:05
O mighty wilderness What secrets do you hide Deep within your heart of hearts Your valleys vast and wide Tell me something different That the world has never said Tell me, what i do is right And my wrongs are not a sin I don’t wanna be a saint And I don’t wanna be your friend All I want to be is a Upright man Mother thinks that I’m a saint But my dad he knows the dirt Family life is oh so quaint Til my brother he got hurt So tell me what I’m doing Is what everyone has did And I’ll go on living like a Man inside a can I don’t wanna be a saint And I don’t wanna be your friend All I want to be is a Upright man (x2) Tv man he says to Buy his shit Preacher man says to Give him it Well I just tell myself That all the penitent are dead I'll go on living like that Man is dead I don’t wanna be a saint And I don’t wanna be your friend All I want to be is a Upright man (x3)

C'mon 03:23
Never went north but I’ve never been west I never been caught beating on my chest Checked all the boxes, passed all the tests C'mon Didn’t say yes, but I didn’t say no I can see me in the light, center of the show Everything I am, everything I know C'mon People want to be Famous and on tv But all I want to be Is happy I know too much, and there’s too much noise I’ve never really said, “I did it for the boys” Everything I did, I didn’t have a choice C'mon I’ve never been a fan of the corporate greed How’d you make money off a fundamental need? We never learned to write, we never learned to read C'mon People want to be Married by thirty three So let’s ignore our neighbors needs Whoopee Sulfur in the air and poison in my eyes I remember when blue was for the skies Would you like to take your pill with your soda or your fries C'mon And people try to tell me that nothing makes sense Yet they pray to nonbelievers, gypsies in a tent I try to tell them God wouldn’t live behind a fence C'mon People don’t want to be In a world where they’re free They’d rather listen to their tv C'mon

I don’t think they know who I am What I do or where I stand Well if they know my name, then I guess that makes us friends Got paper cuts all up in my brain Every time I’m out all I see is rain When you’re feeling nothing, that's a different kind of pain If I choose from wrong or right There's a chance I’ll have to fight I don’t wanna do this run-around all my life Well this big black bird came and took this girl Took her freedom and it took her world Left her sick and it left her mind all twirled Every act is an act of war And saving face has become a chore When your meds wear off, all that’s left is wanting more If there’s order to our lives Why’s there so much strife Can no one justify, our cries I’m gonna Roll with the punches Cause there ain’t much else to do Just pay no mind To the things they do The things they do Well it seems like they’d do anything For a little money or a little bling How was I supposed to know it was all a game So blow off the roof of a mountaintop Poison kids just to lower costs You don’t need a heart if you never plan to stop Just keep on keeping fast Until there’s nothing left You'd rather die on top, then live your life in last There’s so much pain in the world But the world don’t seem to care There’s so much pain in the world And all they want to do is stop and stare I’m gonna Roll with the punches Cause there ain’t much else to do Just pay no mind To the things they do The things they do (x2)

The air is cold, and my world is flat This Midwestern town never comes around That’s a matter of fact The days are dark and they fall apart One by one And I can’t remember when I last seen The sun I can’t seem to find, where my mind is now My body’s going through all the moves But I don’t know how The thoughts in my head, they have ran and fled Away from me To the place where my spirit And my soul Can be free Arizona Please make me stay I wanna be right there between Your summer days And desert breeze Arizona Won’t you come my way Take me there your mountain air And let me lay Among the trees I see The big blue sky, so I lie real still Wispy clouds make their way, never turn too gray But always give a thrill Like a mountain stream, they are free to dream And free to roam With no purpose or guide out into The unknown Where canyons are grand, and every land serene Mighty rocks colored red, like my heart and head My body’s evergreen The Wind calls out to me to come out and see The desert’s soul And every cactus flower Beckons me To come home Arizona Please make me stay I wanna be right there between Your summer days And desert breeze Arizona Won’t you come my way Take me there your mountain air And let me lay Among the trees From Sedona Straight through Camp Verde I’ll march on through those Tonto views To Phoenix days And Tucson nights From every Mesa And mountain range All the desert sand and forest land All share my name And share my life Arizona

about

Life is a journey filled with many ups and downs. Before setting out, you might think you'll fly to the moon. Along the way you'll find love and see things you didn't know were even out there. You might meet a bird or two and you might not. But sometimes hardships come and after trying to be an upright man, all you're left with is thinking c'mon. "Pay No Mind" reminds you that in times of inner turmoil and when the world around you doesn't make sense, to roll with the punches, and keep dreaming those Arizona dreams. Enjoy – or not, it's your free will!
